The set contains everything you need to create cyanotypes. The two chemicals Ammonium Iron(III) Citrate Green and Red Prussiate of Potash.
To prepare a cyanotype solution, dissolve 20 g of Ammonium Iron(III) Citrate Green in 100 ml of distilled water and 10 g of Red Prussiate of Potash in 100 ml of distilled water. The two aqueous solutions are then poured together to yield 200 ml of photosensitive solution.
We recommend using heavier paper for your cyanotype prints. It is best to use paper with a high cotton content, as it is able to handle water well and won't fall apart nor warp during the printing process. It is also possible to use cyanotype solution to print on fabrics!
