Flat tip brush with extra fine ox hair, long handle in earth-red lacquered wood with gold tip and nickel-plated brass ferrule.
The extra fine ox hair is characterised by an extreme softness, a good water release and colour absorbency. Due to the low elasticity and thin hairs, it is ideal for oil paint, acrylic, gouache and watercolour. The brushstroke is soft and light, whilst the line is delicate and used in light strokes such as for solid backgrounds.
Series 71 is characterised by a soft natural hair and fine tip, being available in a broad range of sizes, able to meet the needs of oil painters, watercolour painters and decorators. The handle is long, light and suitable for vertical work, where distance is needed between the hand and the work for perspective and a greater overview. The flat tip allows you to create very fine lines when used on its narrow side as well as full backgrounds whilst maintaining the form, when well maintained.
THE LINE
When used on its narrow side, the line is thin and medium-long. When pressure is applied, it leaves a rectangular form.
